Terms of Service

Last updated: September 27, 2026

These terms apply to your use of Fukurama, an AI workspace for conversations, side discussions, and evolving artifacts. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

Your account

You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you. Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials and provider API keys secure, and use only accounts and keys you are authorized to use. If you use Fukurama for an organization, you must have authority to act for that organization.

The service and AI output

Fukurama helps you discuss a goal, develop an artifact, explore side questions, and review changes. AI responses and proposed changes can be incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or similar to output received by other people. They are not a substitute for qualified professional advice or your own judgment.

Review generated content, sources, and proposed changes before relying on them, publishing them, or making a consequential decision. You are responsible for how you use the output and for retaining any independent copies your work requires. The service does not promise error-free or uninterrupted operation.

Your content

You retain the rights you hold in your messages, files, instructions, and artifacts. You grant Fukurama permission to store, reproduce, process, and display that content as needed to operate the service for you, including sending relevant context to your selected AI providers and enabled tools. This is not a transfer of ownership.

Only submit content you have the right to use and share for these purposes. Do not upload another person's confidential information or personal information without an appropriate basis. Rights in AI-generated output depend on applicable law and the selected provider's terms; Fukurama does not guarantee that output is unique or free of third-party rights.

Acceptable use

You must not use Fukurama to:

  • Break applicable law, infringe another person's rights, or submit content you are not authorized to process.
  • Attempt to access another user's account, workspace, private files, credentials, or other restricted information.
  • Distribute malware, interfere with the service, or circumvent security controls, access restrictions, or resource limits.
  • Misuse connected providers or enabled tools in violation of their applicable terms.

AI providers and other external services

Model providers, routing services, optional sign-in providers, and web retrieval services are separate services with their own terms and privacy practices. Availability, supported models, and provider behavior can change independently of Fukurama.

When you connect your own provider API key, your provider account and any usage charges on that account remain governed by your agreement with that provider. Enabling a tool or sending a message may cause requests to be made using that connection. Read the Privacy Policy before sharing sensitive information.

Payment availability

Paid subscriptions and checkout are not currently available. Creating an account does not authorize a charge, and Fukurama does not currently collect payment-card details.

Before any paid subscription can be purchased, the applicable payment terms must be presented, including what the plan includes, any taxes, billing and renewal arrangements, cancellation, and refunds. No paid subscription or automatic renewal is created by these terms alone.

Availability, suspension, and ending use

Features may change, and access may be interrupted for maintenance, security, or reasons outside Fukurama's control. Access may be restricted or suspended to address misuse, protect the service or other people, or comply with law.

You may stop using Fukurama at any time. Stopping use, signing out, or deleting a topic does not necessarily erase stored content. Current retention and deletion behavior is explained in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and your statutory rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties that it will meet every need, always be available, or produce accurate results. Exercise particular care before relying on AI output for legal, medical, financial, or other high-impact decisions.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, remedies, warranties, or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer protections. These terms do not require you to waive those protections.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the service develops. The current version and its update date will be available on this page. Any paid offer will disclose its applicable purchase terms before you commit to paying.
